Sometimes ( 3:51)
from the self-titled album Howie Beck
Howie Beck is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Toronto. His debut album, 1997's Pop and Crash, was recorded at home while Beck recovered from a nasty bout of mononucleosis. It's not hard to imagine that his quiet, introspective vocals and acoustic guitar strumming were influenced by those circumstances.
Beck began to attract attention outside Canada with 1999's Hollow, a more confident effort that mixed some uptempo tracks with his usual quieter tunes. Around this time, some of Beck's songs made surprise appearances in prime-time TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Felicity.
After a long break from the music industry, partly triggered by September 11, Beck finally released his third, self-titled album in Canada in 2004 to very positive reviews. The album was again released in 2006 in the UK, Europe and the USA to critical acclaim.

November 5, 2006Be Gentle With Me (3:50)
from the album The Best Party Ever
Owen and Hobbs both grew up in the same small village of Wendover in Buckinghamshire. They met when they were still in school and started writing songs together. They began writing and recording songs for The Boy Least Likely To in the summer of 2002. The group created the independent label Too Young to Die as a means to release their music. Their first release was the 7" single "Paper Cuts" in 2003. They released three singles and completed the recording of their debut album before they played any live shows. Their debut album The Best Party Ever was released in the UK in february of 2005.
The band describe their own sound as "Country Disco". They were included in the top ten bands of 2006 in Rolling Stone magazine, and described as sounding like what would happen "if all your childhood stuffed animals got together and started a band."

I'm Gonna Find Another You ( 2:43)
from the album Continuum
Mayer's latest album, entitled Continuum, was released on September 12, 2006. It was produced by Mayer himself, along with John Mayer Trio drummer and session veteran Steve Jordan. Mayer suggested the album was intended to combine his signature pop music with the feel, sound, groove and sensibilities of the blues. In that vein, two of the tracks from his trio release TRY!—the funky "Vultures" and the sparse ballad "Gravity"—also were included on Continuum. Mayer also played a secret one-off show at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles on April 10, 2006, with John Mayer Trio bassist Pino Palladino, where they played the majority of the new songs from Continuum.
